90 Gallon Reef Tank Equipment
Tank
90 Gallon All Glass Aquarium - rectangular shape.
(48" long x 24" tall x 18" deep)
All Glass pine stand.
All Glass pine canopy.

I like All Glass products myself. I have had a 55 gallon tank that is over 20 years old now that my Dad gave me. It has been through one move that I was surprised it survived. All of my other 6 or so tanks over the years have been from All Glass with the exception of a Marineland Eclipse six. The Stand and Canopy are not the best quality as far as looks goes but they serve their purpose.

Sump / Refugium
Amiricle Wet/Dry filter with drilled bulkheads
Hang on U-tube overflow.
All media removed.
Powered by Mag 9.5 (950 gph) pump for return.
The Mag is throttled back using a 3/4" ball valve.

I could have built my own sump or used a Rubbermaid container but I like the quality of the Amiricle products and did not have to do much work to use it. I could use a little more space but it works well and holds my skimmer without any problems.

The first section of the sump is used as a small refugium. I have some eggcrate with a small amount of grape calurpa in it. Light is provided by a CSL powercompact light with a 27 watt 6700k bulb and a 9 watt blue bulb.

Skimmer
Precision Marine Bullet 1 - Located in sump.
Powered by a Mag 12 (1200gph) pump.

Wow, what a skimmer this one is! I have not used a Skimmer like this one yet. It started working two hours after I install it on the tank. It creates the darkest, thickest skimmate that I have seen yet. It does use big pump but it is worth it. I don't think I could find a better skimmer than this one.
Heating / Cooling
Medusa TC 200 digital heater controller
Ebo Jager 200 watt heater - located in sump
3 - 4 inch Radio Shack fans
Located at the back of the canopy blowing in.

The Medusa controller is a bit of overkill but it does work really well. I do not trust the little thermostats in the heaters to keep my tank temperature stable so even though the Medusa is expensive it has paid for it self in peace of mind. I do not want to worry if the heater stick on or off one day. The Medusa also has an alarm system so if the temp goes too high or drops too low it will sound an alarm.
The Ebo Jager heater is a sturdy unit which sits in my sump.
Circulation
2 - Maxijet 1200 powerheads.

2 - Maxijet 900 powerheads.
Lighting
2 - PFO 400watt Dual HQI ballast.
2 - Osram/Radium 400 watt 20000 kelvin Metal Halide bulbs.
2 - Spiderlight reflectors.
1 - Icecap 660 VHO ballast.
2 - URI 110w VHO Actinics.
Electronics
Aquacontroler PRO.
PH probe.
ORP probe.
Temperature probe.
Pinpoint Salinity meter.

The Aquacontroller is a nice unit but is probably not needed because I only use the monitoring functions and do not control any tank parameters with it. I am not a big fan of the X-10 controllers that the unit uses because I do not find them reliable enough to maintain something as mission critical as my reeftank. I have also had some issues with RF interference with this unit.
The Pinpoint monitor is a good value for the money and seems to work well. It is not as accurate as a good Refractormeter but it does work and allows me to monitor any sudden changes in salinity.
